Cuando no estamos utilizándolo, es mejor desenchufarlo al cargador del celular, ya que se estaría consumiendo energía en vano. Por eso es mejor dejarlos desenchufados y enchufarlos sólo cuando deseamos cargar el celular.

Los cargadores modernos de celulares controlado por microcontroladores (cargadores de Motorola o de BlackBerry por ejemplo) solo se activan cuando se enchufa el dispositivo, esto lo podes comprobar ya que no se calienta y en el caso de tener led de conectividad solo consumiria menos de 1W.-

Gracias Cristian por la acotación, pero hay que tener en cuenta que no todos tenemos celular de última generación, y que aunque ahorremos 1W ya sería un progreso...

 En el canal discovery hay un programa que mostraron como el consumo, de una casa promedio, contodos los elementos que tenemos normalmente enchufados ( heladers, lavacecarropas, tv, dvd, audio...). Bueno todo esto daba un promedio de 0,20 euros de consumo, cuando desconecteron tv, dvd, audio, ... es decir solo lo necesario heladora el consumo en euros bajo ha 0,03.

Si, igual, quién desenchufa los electrodomésticos cuando deja de usarlos, o cuando se va de vacaciones? Es TAN poca la diferencia que a nadie le importa, además de que nadie está informado sobre el tema.
