Display - a national competition for sustainable energy & economy
Lausanne and Montreux have just been awarded first and second prizes in the
"Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign" which is a European Campaign to raise awareness and change the landscape of energy.
Sustainable Energy Europe is a European Commission initiative in the framework of the Intelligent Energy - Europe Programme, which will contribute to achieve the European Union's energy policy targets within the fields of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, clean transport and alternative fuels.

For example, if you go to the local swimming pool in Clarens, you can see how much energy and water they consume and the amount of CO2 they emit.
