Local "grassroots" competitions
Getting the individual to realize whan impact small changes in their lives can have on energy consumption is not easy. Grassroots competitions can inspire people to make changes in their lifestyles. The community of Onex, in the canton of Geneva, Switzerland has just launched such a competition. The city is coaching residents in ways to reduce energy consumption and CO2.
Sharing these experiences can help to trigger interest in other communities. Does anyone have similar grassroots events to share?
