New US site tells you to "get energy active"

Jonathan Buck on October 25, 2007 | 992 Views | 1 Comment

Just added to the US wikiwatts entries (wattwatt.com/wikiwatts), check out this site (getenergyactive.org) which is backed by the Edison Electric Institute (EEI). As it says: "Electricity. It's our most powerful energy resource, and we depend on it for nearly everything we do. Today our nation's demand for electricity is at an all-time high—and is projected to grow at least 40 percent within the next 25 years. That's a lot of power! And that's why America's electric companies are taking smart steps now to plan for our electric future. You can be a part of this effort. We encourage you to use this site, read our latest newsletter, watch our videos, and visit our discussion board to learn why a smart electric future benefits us all. Get energy smart and get energy active today!"

A good site on a subject close at heart - thanks for the reference. I think the video's are a great idea, though I'd prefer a bit more content and a bit less branding. But the idea certainly has merit.
