In an attempt to promote awareness of climate change, Britain is being encouraged to go green. However, according to the latest figures from The Energy Saving Trust, while more than 80 percent of Brits believe that climate change is having an impact on the UK right now, a disappointing 40 percent are doing nothing to reduce their energy use.

Brits are still falling behind other European countries in terms of environmental awareness according to the Energy Saving Trust’s ‘Green Barometer’ - the first national index of public opinion on green issues. However, there are several small changes that consumers could make to reduce their carbon footprints and help the fight against climate change.
