IBM can help you measure your carbon emissions
Or at least, that's what they claim. News.com" rel="nofollow">href="http://www.news.com/greentech/8301... reports on the latest green announcement from Big Blue, a service called GreenCert that integraes IBM's infrastructure software with tools from C-Lock Technology to measure reductions in greenhouse gases including carbon dioxide.
The aim is to allow more effective trading in carbon offsets by providing auditable data, and it's the latest proposal from their Big Green Innovations programme.
