More Efficient Solar Cells?
Looks like UC-San Diego researchers have found a way to improve efficiency in thin-film solar panel cells: spike them with nanowires! Seems that they act like an extension of the electrode, making the trip more efficient for electrons. This method allows for thicker panels, which could increase sunlight absorption. Better solar on the way soon??
